The aftermath of Covid-19 runs deeper than the disappearance of face masks-it’s reshaping how we work. While movements like FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) gained traction before the pandemic, many are now quitting their jobs before even reaching their ideal passive income goals.

Why I Quit
Some people hate their jobs and view work as a means to fund their lifestyle, hobbies, or interests, without intrinsic meaning. I am the opposite-I love working. My work defines me, which make it impossible to be a means to an end. If the job itself feels meaningless (as anthropologist David Graeber outlines in Bullshit Jobs), I find it hard to stay motivated.
