Thanks so much for your comment and sharing. I like your approach a lot. Since I wrote this piece, I have also reflected on the meaning of clothes/fashion. I think there's the utility value of clothes (being comfort, warmth and appropriateness), and also the nourishing value of clothes.

With regards to the latter, and in echo with the point you are making, I have come to see fashion, and dressing up (including make up and jewelleries) as a form to take care of myself and show case my personality. Whether they are blouses or dresses don't matter to me as much, the key is that my limited selection of clothes should make me feel good, confident and loved in them.

There were a time when clothes were only utility for me, and it has taken away my feminine energy very significantly (and that's nothing to do with women, everyone has a balance). So this is how I see fashion now, something for me to embrace and balance my femininity, along with proper nourishing skin care etc.
