Hi Dave
I totally understand. Just yesterday I came across a perfectly cool white guy, but he said girls who shared their sexual harassment experience on the back of Sarah Everard tragedy (if you follow the news in the UK) are attention seeking.
My girlfriend’s were livid by this comment and so was I. But I am more feeling stereotypes have created more antagonism than ever. By shouting women’s rights, Asians rights and gay rights, it does ultimately point fingers at straight white men.
Straight white men are under a lot of attack at the moment. What I think they need to do is not to shout back, but to become a feminist, an anti-raciat and advocates for gay rights. They have to shout louder than ever as supporters, just as all minorities have shouted louder and louder over the past 100 years.
That’s the only way to integrate.
