I am glad this has given you some insights about you and your mother. I wanted to stress one thing (without knowing anything about you and your mother, so take it with a pinch of salt).

They never wanted to hurt us, it's bad execution more than malice. Knowing this make my anger and hatred a lot less overwhelming, which in turn, helps me to feel free and happy.
