How I Found My Niche and Branding

PS. I have an obsession with using one account name for EVERYTHING

I have changed my names and everything a few times because every time I found a great name, something’s not right about it. The biggest problem of all, for me, was:

I couldn’t unify all my social media account handles.

Do you have the same problem? For a not very well-known (or not known at all) author like myself, I want people to know my name and also what I do in a sentence less than the length of a Twitter tweet.

The second problem I have when defining my brand is:

I couldn’t narrow down my niche succinct enough.

Here’s what I learn about branding.

Don’t stress too much about it because…

I must write this up-front to get everyone's hopes up first. Because although my branding, niche and even my own pen name kept changing, I have been growing steadily on Medium.

I currently have 283 followers since I started in September, I don’t think it’s a lot, but it is growing. I have made money, enough to sponsor my daily artisan coffee and croissant habit I’d say (haha).
