I am glad you mentioned the different attitudes towards different meat is arbitrary. I am far from a dog-eater myself, but a lot of this dog-eating Chinese has been a propaganda or stereotype attributed whilst the world weren't automatically domesticating dogs as pets from the outset.

People all over the world have attributed different attitudes towards animal as a form of food. Muslims against eating pork, Indian refrained from eating beef, etc. All constructed ideologies - a lousy conclusion from a social anthropologist! Thanks for your article.
