I do agree that Asians are less likely to react strongly on racism. Perhaps partly because our parents' and the generations above are a little racists themselves. Perhaps they just think that differences based on race is expected and no big deal, that's what I see from the older Chinese immigrants in the UK anyways.

Racial jokes can be funny if the intention is not malicious, right? I guess the question is whether we can struck a power rebalance peacefully. I agree though, for black and brown people its hard because there's already violence involved, for East Asians, I agree we are quite privileged in that sense and should continue to remain peaceful but be firm with our boundaries.
