That’s so interesting because The March family from the book Little Women consider themselves to be poor and sometimes they buy lobster on an average day (like in the beginning when the girls took over the household chores) and sometimes they buy lobster for an important event (like when Amy tried to impress her rich friends). I think Little Women was set in the 1800s. I found it weird when they kept mentioning lobsters (I am not from America and obviously not that era) so was wondering how they see it then!
