The Insight from A Bridesmaid Who Will Never Say Yes to Be One Ever Again
Don’t believe any bride who tells you they don’t care about the wedding, or that they just want to keep it simple.
Turn on your lie detector! They are just too polite to say that they’re having the fairy tale wedding they have been dreaming of since the age of 3. Because, if they truly don’t care about a wedding, they won’t do it.
Obviously, you might also know couples who truly don’t want to have a wedding but their parents force them too. My advice is, turn down the offer of bridesmaid at once! Bridezilla is nothing compare to Mothers-of-bridezilla, they own the Jurassic Park.
A small caveat: If you also want a proper wedding yourself, you might have to say yes to a few bridesmaid roles, including your sisters’. Otherwise, no one will want to be your bridesmaids when your day comes. It’s called reciprocation of suffering.
Because a bridesmaid is a sick job.
