This is a good read. I think many people are lost in that exactly because they are not very honest with themselves. I also think that when spirituality (or religions) become a culture, it can easily misinterpreted by people who are less philosophically minded. After all, most people just wish to follow a certain model and have reductionist thoughts. However, on the more upbeat front, I suppose for some spiritual bypassing is a rite of passage to a deeper understanding of the truth and a more authentic relationship with ourselves.
